Ethiopia Guji – Organic
$17.00 – $22.00
Buku Sayisa, located in West Guji, is a washing station that specializes in natural processing. Ripe, sorted cherries from farms at an altitude of 2,300 masl are dried for 12 to 15 days on raised beds. By meticulously avoiding overfermentation during the drying process, Buku Sayisa producers craft elegant cup profiles like this G1 coffee
When tasting this coffee, blueberries were the dominant tasting note in this juicy Ethiopian along with notes of honeydew and jasmine.
A natural process coffee is one that refers to a coffee processing technique where the coffee is laid out to dry with the coffee cherry intact. This creates a natural fermentation environment for the coffee and can produce very intense fruit and floral notes.
We roast this coffee to a light-medium level to develop the deep fruity notes while slightly reducing acidity to make a smooth and flavorful coffee.
