Grown in the high-altitude peaks of the Andes, this organic coffee comes from the Cordillera de Calarma in Tolima, Colombia. Once home to the indigenous Pijao people, this region is now a sanctuary for over 300 bird species and the elusive Spectacled Bear.

This exceptional coffee is produced by Multicoop Tolima Asojuntas, a cooperative of smallholder farmers dedicated to sustainable and high-quality coffee cultivation. Their farms, ranging from one to three hectares, sit between 1,500 and 2,200 meters above sea level. Producers hand-harvest ripe cherries, carefully ferment them for 18 to 48 hours, and sun-dry the beans on rooftops and farm structures.

Tolima is one of Colombia’s most prolific coffee-growing regions, benefiting from two harvests per year thanks to its unique climate. This region produces a wide range of Arabica varietals, including Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, and newer rust-resistant strains like Tabi, Castillo, and Colombia.

Colombia’s diverse terrain and rich volcanic soil make it one of the most exciting coffee origins in the world, with consistently fresh, high-quality beans available year-round.

Roasting Scheduler: We roast Monday-Wednesday. Orders placed after Wednesday will be filled immediately if we have the coffee on hand. Otherwise, your order will be roasted & shipped the following week.
