Milk chocolate sweetness leads, with almond and graham cracker through the finish and a lift of mandarin orange. This lot comes from 19 smallholders of Asociación Biológicos para la Paz (ASOBIOPAZ) around the Bonda and Minca villages above Santa Marta in Magdalena. The coffees are fully washed, sun-dried, and selected European Prep (EP) for a clean cup that shines as filter or a modern, lighter espresso.
Grown on the lower slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta—the world’s highest coastal mountain range—these farms benefit from cool Caribbean breezes, sharp day-night temperature swings, and rich, biodiverse forest cover. That unique geography creates the sweet citrus and cocoa balance you taste in the cup.
We source this lot because it’s organic, traceable, and community-driven—supporting a producer association working to improve quality and livelihoods in this special corner of Colombia.
