Grown high in the lush hills of Halo Bariti at 1900–2300 meters, this organic, naturally processed coffee comes from the family farm of Addisu Kidane, who has been cultivating these heirloom varieties since taking over from his father in 2002. The rich vertisol soil, cool climate, and extreme elevation of Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone allow the cherries to mature slowly, producing exceptional complexity in the cup.
Hand-harvested and dried on raised beds, this Yirgacheffe stands out for its clarity and fruit-forward profile. You’ll taste bright notes of blueberry, cocoa, and dried apple with subtle florals and a smooth, wine-like body. A longtime favorite among specialty coffee lovers, Yirgacheffe continues to deliver some of the most iconic and expressive coffees in the world.
Roasting Schedule:
We roast Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed after Wednesday will be filled immediately if we have the coffee on hand; otherwise, your order will be roasted and shipped the following week.
