This Mexican coffee comes to us from Yaxcoffee, an organization of specialty coffee producers in Chiapas, founded in 2011. Yaxcoffee is focused on improving the quality of life of the families of their producer members. They assist all members in the production, storage, processing, and marketing of their high-quality organic specialty coffee. YAX means “green” in the indigenous language Tzeltal. Yaxcoffee refers to the indigenous concept of the members of the cooperative who consider “Mother Earth” as the base of any life.

With a delightful profile that includes roasted almonds, chocolate, and a subtle orange sweetness. This medium-roast coffee is a perfect example of the Chiapas’ agricultural excellence.
